Psychotropic medication use in parents of survivors of adolescent cancer: A register-based cohort study
We show that both mothers and fathers of survivors of adolescent cancer are at increased risk of use of anxiolytics and sedatives immediately following their child’s cancer diagnosis. But only mothers have a higher risk of antidepressant use from 6 months until 2 years after the diagnosis.
